My husband Joel and I tied the knot in October 2023, and I created the following design suite for our big day!
We knew from the beginning that we wanted our wedding day to be pretty down-to-earth, and we ended up having our celebration in the clubhouse at our favorite local park! I wanted our designs and signage to capture our personalities and elevate our day, without feeling too stuffy or formal. Simple contrasting greens feel cool and casual, while hand-drawn floral elements and simple chunky type add personality and playfulness.
It was a beautiful day full of family, friends, our favorite brunch foods (highly recommend a brunch reception, so good), and lots of love. I'm so happy with how our designs turned out and how true to us they feel.
A look at the front and back of our mailed invitation
Top Left: Thank-you card         Top Right: Save the date!
Bottom Left: A personalized coloring page complete with crayons! Creativity is important to us, and we wanted to encourage our guests to get creative too. The backside of the page has a space for guests to leave us a note. We loved going through the cards together after the wedding, reading the sweet notes and seeing everyone's beautiful coloring. We'll keep them forever and re-read on our anniversaries!
Bottom Right: Favor tag! We gave out some locally made soaps, and these favor tags were the perfect way to attach a quick "thank you for sharing our day with us" note.
